Your Waterfowl Hunting Trip
We want to provide you with the best possible waterfowl hunt. With us, we hope you'll feel you're hunting with old friends, not just a "guided trip" with a stranger. What makes us unique?
Your home base will be our waterfront family lodge on Lake Mattamuskeet in Hyde County. This winter resting area in the middle of the Atlantic Flyway is home to one of the largest, most diverse populations of waterfowl in the country. We hunt the entire eastern North Carolina Pamlico Sound area including Dare, Hyde, Tyrell, Washington and Beaufort counties.
We hunt private blinds, open water float blinds and we do open water duck hunting. We hunt for diver ducks, puddle ducks, sea ducks, geese and swans (note permit required for swans).
What Waterfowl are Here?
Geese - Canada, white-fronted, snow, blue, ross
Seasons and bag limits change from year to year so always check the NC Wildlife web site for current regulations.
* Note: Swans can be taken by permit only one per person, per year. Permits must be applied for by October 1 and may be applied for as early as July 1. Apply early or you may not get one.
